This vaccination immunises you against meningococcal diseases such as meningitis, pneumonia and blood infections. Booster shots are recommended every five years thereafter if the risk persists.

This is recommended for the following individuals:

• Traveling to Saudi Arabia or Africa
• Traveling to Mecca during the Haj or Umrah
• Patients with low immunity
• Adults in close contact with meningococcal disease patients
• Healthcare workers
